PROGRAM: MONTANA AIR NATIONAL GUARD

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR FY07


Agency Mission Statement: The 120th Civil Engineer Squadron (CES) primary mission is for the repair, alteration, construction, maintenance and protection of all base real property assets used to support the Air National Guard. The section is comprised of fulltime State employees, Federal employees and traditional Guardsmen, all of which can be called upon to support the Governor's call for emergency response.

The 120th operations personnel are trained to maintain and manage over 394,000 square feet of facility space, 141 acres of real estate, 64,200 square yards of airfield apron, provide base utility support and provide snow removal operations. The 120th Fire Department provides crash recovery support for the entire Great Falls International Airport, as well as providing mutual aid response to other County and City departments. The 120th Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team provides mutual aid response capabilities for the entire State of Montana.

Measurable Performance Targets:

1. No mission cancellations attributed to facility or airfield management..

2. All environmental and safety inspections, assistance visits or audits rated satisfactory or higher.

3. Annual unit repair and maintenance cost to be less then 1.5% of construction cost.

4. Total State share of FOMA budget not to exceed .75% of construction cost of facilities.

5. Contract services not to exceed 25% of Repair and Maintenance budget

6. Energy Conservation programs in place to insure utility consumption is within mandated Federal and State energy reduction guidelines.

Other Program goals:

- All outside agency directed inspections, audits or staff assistance visits rated satisfactory or higher.

- Conduct all activities in compliance with environmental, fire and safety laws and directives. Receive no notices of violation of environmental, fire or safety laws or directives.

- Provide reliable facilities and utilities to meet readiness requirements and satisfy installation needs. Facility maintenance annual assessments by ANG Civil Engineering Technical Services all rated satisfactory or higher.
